The Mean More Mentorship, hosted by Meyocks, is an immersive experience for students to learn what it’s like to work at an advertising/branding/marketing agency. During this program students will learn AND experience what an agency does. Plus, students will be paired with a mentor from Meyocks who will guide them before, during and after the program.
Students (first year, sophomore and junior) from Iowa State University, University of Iowa, Northwest Missouri State University, and Des Moines Area Community College who are interested in learning and eager about gaining experience at an agency.
We don’t care about a student’s major or grades. We are looking for students who haven’t been able to participate in traditional internships or collegiate professional associations due to work or other commitments. The program is for students who want the experience of a professional work setting and who can benefit from a mentor.

Students will pair up with a Meyocks mentor over Zoom prior to the Mean More Mentorship to get to know each other.
This is a five-day program in May of 2025, located at the Meyocks office in West Des Moines, Iowa, where students will learn about the ins and outs of the advertising world, connect with some pretty cool people and gain experience they can talk about and apply in their future careers.
Meyocks wants to make it easy for students to attend. We will cover lodging at a nearby hotel for those who need it. Additionally, we will cover food and some travel expenses and provide a stipend so students don’t have to worry about giving up a week of work to attend the program.
We also encourage students to stay connected with their Meyocks mentor and other members from the team after the Mean More Mentorship comes to a close.
